Child Action, Inc. is a private, nonprofit corporation created in 1976 to provide for the education and social welfare of children and families by organizing, sponsoring and administering services to children. This agency offers a variety of services to families in Sacramento County to assist them as they make choices about child care for their children. These services include information about available child care and consumer guidelines on how to select the best quality programs for your child. A subsidized payment program that offers low-income families assistance in paying for child care services is available.
